Open Source is happening here in Scotland and across the globe. The Scottish Open Source Awards has three principal aims: | Stimulate | To excite students and young people about the creative potential of Open Source | | | | | Promote | To educate business users about the cost, security and flexibility benefits of using Open Source technologies | | | | | Reward | To recognise those individuals, companies and organisations in Scotland that are contributing to the growth of Open Source |
